Stay Engaged, Stay Informed; Lead with Confidence!

So much of our lives involve online interaction; after all, you’re here on our website, right? The Community of Practice is here to provide members with opportunities to connect, learn, and share through training and events, web-based and electronic media, and access to critical field-specific publications, resources and sharing opportunities.

We do this through events, webinars and our electronic newsletter. These resources are aimed to inform and strengthen your day-to-day operation with suggested readings, insights from experts, news from PLI and CFUF, and more.

To become engaged with our newsletter, click below to sign up. It’s free, and at the heart of our electronic outreach.

Coming soon: All In TV podcasts! We’re still in the planning stages on this piece of the puzzle, but we intend to bring you a variety of podcasts featuring special guests, CFUF staff and more. These podcasts will vary in length, from shorter pieces that will inspire to longer, in-depth conversations that really dig in.

We’re looking forward to bringing these All In TV podcasts to you soon!

Events of Note

June 4 – June 6, 2019: Fanning the Fatherhood FIRE: A National Fatherhood Summit

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), and the Office of Family Assistance (OFA) are committed to supporting fathers from all walks of life because fathers are essential to the healthy social, emotional, and economic well-being of their children and families. Our theme, Fanning the Fatherhood FIRE, will rally and inspire the field—giving increased attention to fathers as Family-focused, Interconnected, Resilient, and Essential contributors to their children, families, communities, and society.

“One thing I learned was the importance of strategic connections and to think on a bigger scale. PLI gave me the confidence to approach big fish.
“After being in PLI, I realized what we’ve got to offer at Family Bridges, so I’ve gained the confidence to go out there and approach CEOs and other VIPs, and I’m pretty much doing it on a daily basis.”
