Patrice Woodard

Patrice Woodard currently serves as Department Coordinator for the Practitioners Leadership Institute (PLI) at the Center for Urban Families. In this role Ms. Woodard is responsible for program build-out, implementation and refinement of the PLI Community of Practice.  She plays a key role in the implementation of the PLI Annual Summit and oversees coordination of departmental travel, invoicing, shipping, communication and marketing needs.

Ms. Woodard has a strong background in providing volunteer management oversight and administrative support for small to mid-sized, community based, non-profit organizations. She started her career as an AmeriCorps Volunteer Maryland Coordinator with Herring Run Watershed Association. Before coming to CFUF in July 2013, Ms. Woodard has served as a Volunteer Recruitment Specialist with Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland and as a Volunteer Manager for Baltimore Humane Society.

She is a recipient of the 2005 President’s Service Award, holds a Certificate in Volunteer Management from Carroll County Community College, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences from Towson University.
